Smith is 2!!

And Mommy is old, haha.  We had the most amazing birthday weekend!  I really think God himself arranged it all to help us remember the good things in life.  We celebrated all weekend with family and friends from Arkansas and Oregon.  We not only had 2 birthdays but we decided to let Ruby Kate join in the celebrations by having her baptized.  It most such a special day for everyone.  I had a smile on my face from Wednesday until Monday!  I swear it took a week to recover.

We had Smith' s 2 year well visit and RK's 4 month.  Here are the stats:

Smith-30.4 lbs and 35 inches
RK-16.1 lbs and 26.25 inches

We have some big kids!

Smith is hilarious these days.  He loves Star Wars (thanks Ty) and can name many of the characters.  He is really talking like crazy and has many 3-4 word sentences.  He has been on an amazing sleeping schedule and sleeps from about 6:45-7:15 or 7:30.  A few days even 8!!!  He takes about an hour nap still but that is just find by me.  He started a Mother's Day out program in January and really loves it.  It is sad for me but he is just thriving.  We hope this helps in the shyness department.  I honestly think it already has.  He talks about the potty all the time and will sit on it occasionally.  I'm hoping his brother cousins will teach him how to go and how cool it is, haha.  I can dream right?

Ruby Kate is so adorable and laid back.  She loves her big brother and no one can get her laughing like him.  She is not quite rolling yet but I expect it to be soon.  She has some great sleeping nights and some terrible ones, it's a crap shot.  But S didn't sleep more than 3-4 hours at a time until 7 months so she has already surpassed that, yay.  She wears some 9 month clothes and size 2 diapers but will move up when I run out of the 2.

They are both so much fun and I know it will keep getting better!
